The Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering & Science (SES) is dedicated to hands-on learning and entrepreneurship. SES provides an ideal environment for learning and development, with nine departments offering 20 undergraduate programs of study.

SES is committed to developing the whole undergraduate student by providing education and experience through involvement in substantive research. This experience culminates with Senior Design, a year-long collaborative project in which students apply all they have learned to the solution of urgent real-world problems in fields like coastal resilience and healthcare.
