Information for Parents and Families

As a strategic partner in supporting student development and academic achievement, we invite and encourage parents and family members to learn more about the student experience at Stevens, become involved, and stay connected with the University.

Flock Together: Stevens Family Day

We invite parents and families to join us annually for Family Day. Stevens Family Day is a celebration for students and their families. Activities range from President Farvardin’s state of the university address, open houses, performances, and presentations to athletic contests, movie nights, and more!

Family Day will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Visiting Stevens

The Stevens campus in Hoboken, New Jersey is well connected by three major airports, NJ Transit, PATH and NY Waterway. There are also several options for accommodations within a short distance of the Stevens campus in Hoboken, all with mass transit accessibility.

Getting Connected

Parents and guardians of Stevens students receive a Stevens Family E-Newsletter each month during the academic year with updates about campus life and important upcoming process.

Parents and families should ensure that their student logs into Workday to make sure all of their contacts are listed with correct phone numbers and email addresses. Students should use these instructions to update their emergency contact, someone who should be contacted in case of a serious emergency. This emergency contact can be a student’s parent, guardian, relative, or friend who lives near campus. Students must also update their Friends and Family contacts using these instructions. This will ensure that parents or guardians receive important communications about Stevens happenings and events, including the Family Newsletter referenced above. Students can create two Friends and Family contacts, one each for two different parents/guardians, and tag them both as either Parent or Legal Guardian.
