Stevens supports a comprehensive, coordinated, and holistic approach to student wellness.  The mission of the Office of Student Support is to encourage student success both personally and academically by helping students during challenging times, connecting students with wellness and support services, aligning university wellness initiatives, inspiring intentional positive lifestyle choices, and providing wellness and health promotion programming. The Office of Student Support collaborates with various departments to offer comprehensive education, resources, and services that enable students to reach their full potential in well-being.

Seal of Prevention

Stevens has been named a recipient of the Campus Prevention Network (CPN) Seal of Prevention. Presented by Vector Solutions, the CPN Seal of Prevention is awarded to institutions of higher education that have demonstrated leadership in digital prevention programming focused on student safety, well-being, and inclusion.

The Stevens CARE Team is a network of Stevens professionals that provide a support system for students. The CARE team responds to student behavior that is concerning and provides support that a student needs including academic, mental health, medical, or other resources depending on the nature of the problem. Please note that the CARE Team is not an emergency resource. For emergencies, call Stevens Police at 201.216.3911.

Student Health Services

Stevens Student Health Services is an acute health care facility that offers professional services to the Stevens student. These services include health promotion and disease prevention and treatment during acute, episodic, and some chronic phases of illness, and referrals to outside providers when appropriate. Our main focus is to improve and maintain physical wellness and productivity.

We understand that the university experience can at times be overwhelming. Whether it’s the transition from high school to college or studying for final exams, Counseling and Psychological Services is here to help by providing personal and group counseling services to enrolled students.
