At Stevens, Different Is Good

Whether you’re a sophomore in high school or have already started the college application process, Stevens will help you prepare for your college career. Through programs like the Art Harper Saturday Academy and Stevens ACES, high school students interested in STEM can get scholarships to attend Stevens Pre-College Programs, where you can explore your ideas and interests in a pressure-free, inspiring academic environment that welcomes big thinkers.

For admitted students, each of our special programs features a slightly different take on our traditional curriculum, but they all anticipate what you need to achieve your goals. The Accelerated Master's Program (AMP)

Our Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) lets high-achieving students begin taking graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies, enabling them to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree at an accelerated pace.

The Stevens Link Semester

The Stevens Link Semester is a foundational semester that prepares you to excel at Stevens. Link students are offered conditional admission to Stevens for the fall term and have access to tutoring support, faculty advisors and other resources to maximize your success.Upon successful completion of the fall foundation semester, Link students are fully admitted to Stevens in the spring semester.

New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund

EOF offers academic and financial assistance to qualifying New Jersey residents from backgrounds of educational and economic need who demonstrate strong evidence of the commitment, motivation, and potential for scholastic success, as well as interest in completing a Stevens Institute of Technology education.

The STEP Program

The Stevens Technical Enrichment Program (STEP) provides students from diverse backgrounds with a supportive environment on campus.

Stevens ACES: Accessing Careers in Engineering and Science

Increasing the number and percentage of underrepresented minority students in STEM study and careers is a strategic goal for Stevens Institute of Technology. Toward this goal, Stevens is partnering with high schools in underserved communities to introduce talented students with significant financial need, particularly URM students, to college life, inspire them to pursue their STEM education, and give them the support they need as undergraduates.

Art Harper Saturday Academy

Stevens Institute of Technology is committed to creating pre-college programming that will lead to greater diversity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. The Art Harper Saturday Academy, which began in Fall 2019, is a multi-year program that will reach out to high school students from under-resourced communities who are interested in pursuing college majors and careers in STEM related fields.

iSTEM@Stevens

iSTEM@Stevens is an exclusive entrepreneurship training program that enables students to design and build technologies and businesses that will shape the future.

ROTC at Stevens

Stevens offers Air Force ROTC and Army ROTC through programs at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, NJ, and Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. Stevens students participating in ROTC programs dual enroll at Stevens and another institution and take one course each semester in the Military Sciences at the ROTC host institution. Stevens students also participate in physical training at the host institution through the academic year and attend meetings of the ROTC groups on the host campuses. Typically, 1-2 Stevens students participate in ROTC at Seton Hall each year, and 3-6 Stevens students participate in ROTC at NJIT.
