Summer Residential Program:
Studio Sessions: Composing, Recording & Performing Music

This collaborative program will give students the opportunity to embrace the multi-disciplinary nature of music creation through composing, recording, and performing as ensembles or “bands.” They will participate in a variety of workshops rooted in the application of music technology. Throughout the program, time will be split between Collaborative Composition, Performance Labs, Recording Workshops, and Production/Arrangement Sessions. Students will gain experience with introductory recording techniques through a series of technical workshops. Production and Arrangement sessions will establish a foundation in arranging and mixing with virtual instruments. The two weeks will culminate in a presentation of recorded music and a performance of the compositions in the HASS Sound Studio.
