Life at Pre-College

Discover why our stunning, 55-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River and New York City skyline is the perfect place to give college life a try.

College Town Life. Big City Access.

Stevens gives you a taste of everything, starting with our location: a scenic campus, in a vibrant town, next to a world-class metropolis. With just enough freedom for when you want to feel independent and just enough social life and guidance for when you don’t, we’ve designed a college experience for you that will only heighten your excitement for the real thing.

Your Stay at Stevens

You will share a room in one of our residence halls with a roommate(s), who will be specially selected for you based on your application. Our comfortable rooms have everything you need, from extra long beds to high-speed wifi — and some even offer river views. You’ll be staying only steps away from your classes and labs, on-campus dining halls and the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. Athletic and Recreation Center. At night, our Resident Advisors (RAs) are always on hand to keep an eye on things and help you with anything you need.

Dining at Stevens

When it comes to mealtime, you’ll have lots of choices in our Pierce Dining Hall. Students will also get a chance to experience the eateries of Hoboken for dinner, as dinner is not served on campus.

NYC view from Hoboken

Welcome to Hoboken

The Princeton Review recently ranked Hoboken as #6 on its list of America’s best college towns — for good reason!

Making New Friends

Pre-college students always say they’re surprised and delighted by all the friends they make and keep in touch with after the program. Icebreakers, social outings, group dinners, and team assignments.

The Stevens Summer was a tremendous experience where I made new friends, explored new fields of engineering and had great exposure to a true work environment.
