Systems Engineering Rises Six Spots in U.S. News & World Report’s Grad School Rankings

The Systems Engineering program in Stevens’ School of Systems and Enterprises rose six spots in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023-24 graduate school rankings, which was updated on Tuesday, April 25.

Systems Engineering is the only specialty program within SSE that is ranked by program, with the prestigious major improving year over year from 47th to 41st nationally. Specialty program rankings are based on peer assessments by department heads of the associated programs.

"It is gratifying that our peers see the value that the School of Systems and Enterprises' Systems Engineering program offers to our graduate students," said Anthony Barrese, interim dean of the School of Systems and Enterprises. "Our hands-on curriculum and accomplished faculty prepare the technical leaders of tomorrow to implement a systems-based approach to help address society's biggest challenges."

U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Stevens' online graduate Systems Engineering program 12th nationally and No. 1 in New Jersey, with online graduate Engineering Management also ranking 12th nationally and tops in The Garden State.
