Department of Computer Science Undergraduate Studies: Where Hands-On Experience Prepares You for Real-World Success

We combine problem-solving, business skills and opportunities for entrepreneurship training to help you build a career that makes a genuine difference on the world today — and the world of tomorrow.

Computer science is highly valued because, at its core, it teaches fundamental problem-solving skills. So the Stevens' undergraduate computer science curriculum is focused on developing not just your technical skill set, but your curiosity and desire to learn more.

In our department, you'll tackle real-world social and technological problems hands-on, often with real companies acting as clients for your projects. We'll also show you how to keep your skills current, no matter how quickly the field or technology changes.

Our small class sizes and easy access to the global technology hub of New York City will also provide you with the experience and connections to help you land a job and succeed throughout your career.
