Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence
NEW PROGRAM: ENROLLING FALL 2026
Artificial intelligence is transforming industries around the world—from healthcare and finance to transportation, robotics and entertainment. By earning a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Stevens, you’ll gain the knowledge and experience to shape this future and become a leader in innovation.
The artificial intelligence bachelor’s program starts with a strong foundation in computer science and mathematics, building essential skills in programming, algorithms and probability. As you move forward, you’ll dive into advanced AI topics like machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and human-centered design. Along the way, you’ll learn how to create AI systems that are not only powerful but also secure, reliable and ethically responsible.
Your studies will wrap up with a two-semester senior design capstone, where you and your classmates will take on real-world challenges using artificial intelligence. This hands-on project will bring together your technical expertise with communication, leadership and project management skills that employers look for.
By the time you graduate, you’ll be equipped for exciting careers in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, robotics and software development — or to continue on to graduate study in AI, computer science or related fields.
