Preparing to Apply

Applicants should have the following documents and decisions ready to: 

Submit via the Common App 

  • A completed Common Application 

  • One letter of recommendation from a professor, submitted through the Common App “Academic Advisor Report” form 

  • Intent to apply for FAFSA and CSS Profile if you wish to be considered for financial aid 

  • Intent to submit SAT/ACT scores (Stevens is currently test optional

Submit via the Stevens Student Portal 

  • Detailed syllabi for each course under consideration for credit evaluation 

    • Utilize the Stevens Transfer Database for previously approved courses 

    • Courses not listed in the Stevens Transfer Database can still be evaluated for transfer credit 

  • A portfolio if you applied to the Music or Visual Arts & Technology programs (optional; strongly encouraged)
