Stevens Earns 4.5 Stars in New ‘Money’ Best Colleges in America 2024 Ranking

Stevens Institute of Technology has been awarded 4.5 out of 5 stars and is named one of America’s best colleges by Money magazine’s college ranking system. Money’s Best Colleges in America rankings help prospective students and their families find colleges that combine quality of education and affordability.

The star-tiered list ranks 745 colleges, analyzed on 25 data points including graduation rates, cost of attendance, average student debt and alumni salaries. To be considered for inclusion in Money’s rankings, schools must have a minimum of 500 undergraduate students enrolled, sufficient data that allows for analysis, be financially secure and possess a graduation rate at or above the median for its institutional category to be considered for the ranking. This is the second year in a row that Stevens has been awarded 4.5 stars, in 2022, under a different ranking system, Money ranked Stevens No. 36 nationally for overall value.

“Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey specializes in interdisciplinary study, boasting 11 core research areas, including business and finance, data science, energy and environment, and resiliency and sustainability. It's probably no surprise, then, that the institute attracts a high-achieving cadre of about 4,000 undergraduate students, many of them from outside of New Jersey,” according to Money’s assessment of Stevens. “Median early career earnings for graduates totals $105,000, significantly higher than the median of other schools."
