Alumni across generations returned to Castle Point on June 5-6 for Red and Gray Days 2026, celebrating the connections and shared pride that continue to bond the Stevens community. Nearly 1,100 registered alumni and friends came together to reconnect with classmates, revisit special memories and create meaningful moments together.
The celebration kicked off with virtual events earlier in the week, highlighted by a fireside chat with President Nariman Farvardin and Stevens Alumni Association (SAA) President Michael F. Cahill ’15 M.Eng. ’15 sharing insights into Stevens’ legacy, the higher education landscape and the longstanding partnership between Stevens and its alumni. Watch the conversation here.
This year also marked the 150th anniversary of the SAA. As part of the celebration, alumni explored archival displays featuring artifacts, yearbooks and photographs spanning 150 years of Stevens history. In an inspiring DuckTalk, Matt Hunt ’17, who served on the console in Mission Control during Artemis II, led an engaging presentation on the teamwork behind the NASA mission. University leaders discussed the future direction of Stevens, sharing updates on key initiatives and priorities during a brunch gathering.
Reunions were among the weekend’s signature traditions, with the Class of 1976 celebrating their 50th reunion, alongside alumni marking milestone reunions across seven decades. Delta Tau Delta’s Rho Delt Wall of Achievement reception honored renowned architect William Orr Ludlow, Class of 1892, and featured a special tribute honoring the legacy of John Dalton ’60.
At the Flock Party and awards ceremony, alumni and faculty were honored for their accomplishments and service, with Wayne R. Monsees ’71 M.Eng. ’72 MMS ’78 receiving the Stevens Alumni Award. Favorite traditions returned too with the Old Guard Luncheon, affinity reunions, Greek open houses, family festivities, beer and wine tastings, campus tours and regional gatherings. From near and far, alumni returned to campus to renew their connections and celebrate being a Duck for Life.
