Stevens Institute of Technology is once again ranked among the nation's best schools for undergraduates in The Princeton Review’s annual college guide, The Best 392 Colleges: 2027 Edition. Only about 14% of America’s 2,800 four-year colleges are included in the listing.

The “Best Colleges” list, which is not ranked hierarchically, is based on data that is annually collected from surveys of college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings. The Princeton Review also compiles additional ranking lists based on data from its surveys of college students attending the schools.

Stevens is also recognized among the “2027 Best Colleges: Region by Region” for the Northeast.

Students surveyed by The Princeton Review praised Stevens professors as “accomplished in their respective fields” who “like to engage with every student in their class.” Students also highlighted the university’s outstanding career opportunities, noting that “many students graduate with a job offer since Stevens is very well known among tech companies in the area.”

Stevens ranked No. 3 in the nation on the “College City Gets High Marks” list thanks to its proximity to New York City and its central location in the vibrant city of Hoboken.

Stevens was also recognized for the support offered to its students, earning No. 2 “Best Student Support and Counseling Services.” Additionally, the university ranked No. 21 for “Best Quality of Life.”

“At Stevens, we believe student success begins with creating a community where every student feels a sense of belonging, connection and purpose,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Sara Klein. “We’re intentional about creating an environment where students can build meaningful relationships, discover opportunities to grow and find the support they need to thrive — both at Stevens and beyond.”

Stevens’ recognition from The Princeton Review extends beyond the 2027 Best Colleges list, with the university also earning distinctions as a Best Value College, among the Top 50 “Colleges That Create Futures,” No. 12 for “Top 20 Best Career Placement,” No. 10 among the “Top 50 Green Colleges” and in the Top 30 of the “Mental Health Honor Roll.”
