What inspired you to become a Stevens volunteer?
I was inspired to become a Stevens volunteer because I wanted to give back to the university and community that have given me so much. It’s been 26 years since my undergraduate graduation, and I still attribute much of my career success to Stevens. Several of my close friends are from Stevens, and I'm grateful to be on this journey of life with them for three decades now, and counting!
What do you enjoy most about your volunteer role?
As a volunteer, I enjoy reconnecting with classmates, professors, staff and the administration. As a mentor, I also enjoy working with our amazing students who continually inspire me.
How has volunteering for Stevens impacted you personally?
For me, it is very fulfilling to make a difference while engaging with fellow Stevens community members who share a love for Stevens as well.
What impact do you believe alumni volunteers have on the Stevens community?
Volunteering is a great way to create new relationships with students, professors, staff and alumni and learn from one another as we each navigate this fast-paced dynamic global marketplace.
What would you say to fellow alumni who are considering volunteering for Stevens?
There are lots of ways to volunteer. Find one that suits your interests and goals and then make a commitment. You could also think outside the box and create a new opportunity for yourself or Stevens!
