More cheers for the Indicator 

I received the current Indicator (Spring 2025), and I think it’s a great issue. I especially like the way pictures and some interesting side articles are included in the class logs. Great job!

Editor’s Note: The Stevens Indicator is a national award winner! This summer, the magazine received a Circle of Excellence Silver Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the category of Magazines, Alumni/General Interest (Printed Twice a Year).  

The judges wrote: “This magazine was readable, inviting, and informative. The way the front of the book is structured lends itself to being able to get a lot of useful info even from skimming. The cover and news section are both clean and crisp, and the variety of visual approaches including illustration and collage made the magazine feel warm and engaging. There is a tight typographic palette in the publication which serves it well. Very well done.”  

The Indicator staff would like to thank its collaborators across Stevens, designers Elizabeth Sprouls and Kevin Sprouls of Skelton Sprouls and editorial consultant Sue DePasquale. We would also like to thank the devoted alumni, staff members and students whose participation in discussions during The Indicator’s redesign process helped to shape the magazine that has been recognized with this national honor.
