Stevens Center for Sustainability

Every day, Stevens researchers are developing sustainable solutions for the future of the planet, including green remediation technologies, sustainable materials, smarter power grids, better batteries and renewable energy sources. They are also delving into complex business and social sustainability issues.

The center aims to provide a collaborative, cross-disciplinary platform for these researchers to solve critical problems faced by humanity, particularly within underserved communities which are overburdened by pollution and the effects of climate change.

Powered by generous support from the PSEG Foundation, the center administers scholarship programs for students at all levels, from high school to doctorate. The goal is to raise awareness and seek research-based solutions to pressing issues related to the sustainability of environmental justice communities.

The opportunities afforded by the Stevens Center for Sustainability will empower the next generation of environmental stewards. These scholarships are an investment in a shared vision for a sustainable future.
