Every day, Stevens researchers are developing sustainable solutions for our planet's future, including green remediation technologies, sustainable materials, smarter power grids, better batteries, and renewable energy sources. They are now also delving into complex business and social sustainability issues.

The Stevens Center for Sustainability aims to provide a collaborative, cross-disciplinary platform for these researchers to solve critical problems faced by humanity, particularly within communities which are overburdened by pollution and the effects of climate change.

Powered by generous support from the PSEG Foundation, the center administers scholarship programs for students at all levels, from high school to doctorate. The goal is to raise awareness and seek research-based solutions to pressing issues related to the sustainability in communities suffering from environmental challenges.

Vision

The Stevens Center for Sustainability is committed to making a transformative impact on society by advancing science-driven, socially equitable, and innovative solutions for sustainability and resilience, while empowering the next generation of sustainability leaders.
