The School of Business Board of Advisors was formed to enable the school and the university to leverage the experience and perspective of respected professionals to achieve the goals set out in the strategic plan. Collectively, the board has more than a century of business experience across blue-chip business organizations around the globe. Members meet regularly to discuss the academic priorities and corporate placement needs in industry, influencing the success Stevens students enjoy when searching for employment.

Ishaan Acharya
Chief Financial Officer, MEMX

Ishaan AcharyaIshaan Acharya is Chief Financial Officer at MEMX, a next-generation, technology-driven stock exchange. He leads the firm’s finance organization with responsibility for accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and long-term strategic financial planning, and plays a key role in supporting MEMX’s growth, capital strategy, and market innovation initiatives.

Lauren Adelson-Luft
Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Engineering, Bank of New York (BNY)

Lauren Adelson LuftLauren Adelson-Luft was named the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Engineering at Bank of New York (BNY) in August 2024. In her leadership role, Lauren oversees a global finance team responsible for strategically managing BNY Technology expenses, financial reporting and risk management decisions while driving the firm's transformation, growth and efficiencies.

Before joining BNY, Lauren was Managing Director and CFO/COO of Chase Technology at JPMorgan Chase for more than three years and had a 16-year career with Verizon, including serving as the CIO of Corporate Systems within the Global Technology organization. She is a passionate advocate for issues related to women in technology and was awarded U.S. patents in 2012 and 2014.


Mona Babury, M.S. '22
Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, MedTech, Johnson & Johnson

Mona BaburyMona Babury is the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Johnson & Johnson for the MedTech sector. In this role, Mona provides DEI subject matter expertise across the MedTech business, bringing insights on leading DEI trends and the external environment and collaborating with all levels of leadership to advance talent strategies, foster and build on their culture of belonging and drive innovation and growth globally. She leads global DEI strategies, programs, and partnerships that help MedTech better understand and serve the needs of patients, communities, and employees to drive equitable access and opportunity for all. Mona joins J&J from Pfizer, where she implemented Pfizer’s first enterprise HBCU strategy, Refugee Leadership Initiative and Women Back to Work Program, as well as local initiatives like Business Technology 4 Girls and Intern enrichment.


Frank A. Corvino, PhD '10
CEO, Genesis Research

Frank A. CorvinoFrank A. Corvino is the Co-Founder and CEO of Genesis Research. In his 12 years at Genesis, Frank has focused on developing a results-oriented corporate culture through a leadership style that promotes inclusivity, authenticity, diversity of thought, as well as personal growth and fulfillment. A quantitative scientist by training, with numerous publications in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Healthcare, Frank has spent the last 15 years advancing the way Epidemiology, Health Outcomes, Medical Affairs, and Market Access leverage RWE for decision making and stakeholder communications. Prior to starting Genesis Research in 2009, Frank held academic positions at the City University of New York and Stevens Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD from Stevens and an MBA from Columbia Business School.


Shane Deaton
Director of Global Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, Tesla

Shane DeatonAt Tesla, Shane Deaton leads financings in support of the company's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. He began his career as a corporate attorney at Mayer Brown LLP before working in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. He attended Indiana University, graduating with honors from the Kelley School of Business and the Maurer School of Law.


Christopher Frank, '89, M.S. '93
CEO, PSB Insights

Christopher FrankChristopher Frank is the CEO of PSB Insights, a global data analytics agency, and Stevens alumnus holding a Master of Management Science ('93) and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management ('89). He serves on both the Stevens Board of Trustees and the Stevens School of Business Board of Advisors, reflecting a deep commitment to education and the development of future leaders. Mr. Frank is a leading voice in decision science and critical thinking, known for his rare ability to help organizations move from data overload to clear, confident decisions. His lectures and writings challenge conventional thinking and equip leaders with practical frameworks for navigating complexity. Mr. Frank's work has appeared in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Forbes, Inc., Fortune, and TEDx. He is the author of Drinking from the Fire Hose and Decisions over Decimals; his most recent book was selected by the Next Big Idea Club, curated by Malcolm Gladwell and Dan Pink. Drawing on more than three decades of frontline experience at Accenture, American Express, and Microsoft he channels that expertise into the growing the next generation of leaders as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University.


Calvin St. Juste
Global Head of Technology Enablement, T Rowe Price

Calvin St. JusteCalvin St. Juste has recently been appointed as the Global Audit Head of Technology Enablement at T Rowe Price where he leads their corporate technology audits and drive the data analytics program for the division. He previously held several executive positions at Morgan Stanley including Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Head of Business Strategy for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Financial Wellness and was the Global COO of Morgan Stanley Fraud Operations. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was the Executive Director of Digital Care and Customer Operations at Comcast NBC Universal, leading one of the nation’s largest global 24/7 digital social media operations for XFINITY customers. He has also led the nation’s largest Telemedicine operations at “Specialists On Call” offering online medical consultations and treatment in Neurology, Psychiatry, and Cardiology and was the head of Capital One’s Mid-Atlantic Customer Advocacy department which included Regulatory and Social Media teams as well as an Office of the President. Calvin earned an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, and a master’s degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. He is Six Sigma Black Belt-certified and received management certificates from the University of Cambridge in the U.K. and the Wharton School at University Pennsylvania.


Matthew Ketschke, '95, M.S. '98
President, Con Edison of New York 

Matthew Ketschke, Board of AdvisorsIn more than 30 years at Con Edison, Matthew Ketschke has served in numerous roles, taking on his current position in 2021. As President, he is responsible for the safety, construction, planning, design, and reliability of Con Edison’s energy systems serving more than 9 million New Yorkers with electricity, natural gas, and steam. He previously served as senior vice president of Customer Energy Solutions with areas of responsibility that included energy efficiency, electric transportation, and grid modernization. He earned two degrees from Stevens, including his master’s degree in management and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He currently serves on the board of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and is a Rockefeller Fellow. 


Anthony Kowalski, '96
Managing Director, Nomura

Anthony KowalskiAnthony Kowalski has been with Nomura for more than a decade; he is currently the chief operating officer of global rates and secured funding. He also is a member of the Nomura Financial Resource Committee and co-chairs the Nomura Wholesale Liquidity Management Committee. His previous experience includes work at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was global chief operating officer for secured funding, and JPMorgan. Anthony has bachelor's degrees from Stevens and Fairfield University.


Carmine Lizza, '85
Managing Director, Lazard

Carmine LizzaCarmine Lizza is a Managing Director and Chief Information Officer/Global Head of Technology for Lazard. His responsibilities include all aspects of technology that support Lazard's global businesses and operations. Prior to joining Lazard, Carmine was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust, holding a number of senior technology and business management positions in their Institutional Services and Global Markets businesses. Prior to that, he was Head of Equity Systems and Operations at Alliance Capital Management. Carmine started his career at Lear Siegler Avionics, where he was responsible for designing software and testing equipment for military avionic systems.  He is a member of the INSPIRE New York CIO Advisory Board and a 2020 New York CIO of the Year ORBIE Award Finalist in the Global CIO category. Carmine holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.


Mack MacKenzie
Vice President, Digital and Technology Strategy – Pfizer

Mack MacKenzieMack MacKenzie is a senior executive at Pfizer, where he serves as Vice President of Digital and Technology for the Oncology Division, Clinical Development and Operations and Business Innovation. He also leads Pfizer’s Enterprise AI Strategy, driving digital transformation to accelerate the discovery and delivery of medical breakthroughs. Prior to Pfizer, Mack held leadership roles in marketing and product management at webMethods Software and was a strategic consultant at Accenture, leading enterprise application strategy and deployment for many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and chemical companies. He holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Stevens Institute of Technology.


Paul Magnone
Head of Global Strategic Alliances at Google Cloud

Paul MagnonePaul is the Head of Global Strategic Alliances at Google Cloud, working with partners to unlock client value via AI, cloud and related technologies. Previously, he has worked at startups, Deloitte Consulting and IBM, where he launched four global consulting practices in emerging technologies. Paul has been featured in prestigious publications like Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Fast Company, Inc. and TEDx. He holds four patents and has co-authored two books: Decisions Over Decimals (Wiley, October 2022) and Drinking from the Firehose (Portfolio / Penguin, September 2011). Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Business and Faculty Co-Director at Columbia Business School. Paul has an M.S. in Technology Management and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens.


Sean Manchanda, '88, M.S. '90
Senior Vice President at Infinite Computer Solutions

Sean Manchanda, Board of AdvisorsSean Manchanda is the Senior Vice President at Infinite Computer Solutions, a global leader in IT consulting and technology services firm, where he is involved in global business operations and corporate development. Before joining Infinite Computer Solutions, Sean held leadership roles at various technology and management consultancies, including Accenture, IBM, HCL Tech and Cognizant. He earned an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Sean is active in Silicon Valley, Austin, TX and Nashville, TN markets in speaking engagements and corporate advisory work and is on the advisory board of various startups focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Sean's passion includes international travel, venture capital backed startup development and promoting Stevens' Business School and the broader mandate of the University.

James J. Marsh, M.S. '07

James J. MarshJames March is a global executive and board leader with over 40 years of experience guiding organizations at the intersection of risk engineering, insurance, and industrial services. His career has focused on advancing safety, compliance, and operational resilience across international markets.

Most recently, James served as President & CEO of TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants (GRC), leading a $140M full-service risk control consulting firm with 425+ professionals operating in 19 countries. Alongside this, he has held senior leadership roles including Head of Division IS for the Americas Region, Business Unit Manager for Risk Management, and President of TÜV SÜD ARISE.

In the governance arena, he serves as Chairman of the Board for ARISE Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (ABIIC RRG), (past) President & CEO of the National Association of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Owners and Operators, and Advisory Board Member at the Stevens School of Business. These roles have deepened his expertise in board governance, regulatory compliance, risk oversight, and ESG strategy.

Throughout his career, James has helped organizations quantify, communicate, and mitigate risk—from building holistic risk assessment models to leading global teams in environmental, operational, and hazard risk consulting. He also values the opportunity to teach and mentor, having served as an adjunct instructor in corporate risk management.


Aalpen Patel, M.D., MBA

Aalpen PatelDr. Aalpen Patel is a practicing interventional radiologist and physician executive focused on AI, clinical informatics, and care delivery innovation. He previously served as Chief Clinical and Innovation Officer at MedQuest Associates, overseeing clinical practices and innovation across the enterprise, and held leadership roles at Geisinger including Chair of Radiology and Medical Director for Artificial Intelligence. A Stevens Institute of Technology graduate in electrical engineering, he earned his MD from Rutgers, holds an MBA, and is triple board-certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology and clinical informatics. He is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology, has authored over 100 publications, and is a recognized expert in integrating artificial intelligence into radiology operations and clinical workflows. He is also Founder of Kaspyan Group, where he advances applied AI in healthcare.


Milan Patel, '12
Co-founder and CEO, Reroute Capital

Milan PatelMilan Patel is co-founder and President of Yayati, an options fintech, leading product for PLASMA — the first options overlay operating system for asset/wealth managers — and VOLT, the affiliate asset manager focused on tax-optimized single stock option strategies.

Before Yayati, Milan spent eight years at Goldman Sachs in Multi-Asset Solutions covering pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices and asset managers. He specialized in cross-asset quantitative investment strategies and structured $1 billion+ derivative transactions across every asset class before launching Yayati with one of his clients.

He has served on Stevens Institute of Technology's School of Business Advisory Board since 2019, and holds a B.S. in Quantitative Finance from Stevens with minors in Mathematics and Economics. Milan applies quantitative investing to sports betting markets — a longtime hobby, briefly a profession.


Scott Penqué Jr.
Principal, Digital Assurance and Transparency, PwC

Scott Penqué Jr.Scott Penqué is a Principal in PwC's Digital Assurance and Transparency practice, where he serves both public and private companies, primarily within the technology, media, and telecommunication sectors. With a focus on transforming audit, risk, and compliance functions, Scott leverages data analytics, robotic process automation, responsible AI, and other emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Throughout his career, Scott has successfully led numerous high-profile projects, including the development of AI-driven audit tools and digital transformation initiatives. In addition to his work in the New York metropolitan area, he has also served a large multinational conglomerate in Tokyo, Japan. Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Business from Lehigh University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).


Kelly Petit de Mange, '12, M.S. '12
Executive Director, TMT Banking Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Markets

Kelly Petit de Mange photoKelly Petit de Mange is an Executive Director at CIBC Capital Markets focused on growing the bank’s Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Corporate Banking franchise in the United States. She has over a decade of experience in TMT corporate and investment banking and has held similar positions at Mizuho Financial Group and Silicon Valley Bank. Kelly graduated from Stevens with a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance and a master's degree in Applied Mathematics.


Jenik Radon
Adjunct Professor, Columbia University

Jenik RadonAmong Jenik Radon’s many postings in higher education are: Visiting professor, Monterrey Tech, where he was named Distinguished University Professor; lecturer, Stanford University's law and business schools; visiting professor, Indira Gandhi Institute for Development Research; and the Ashton J. and Virginia Graham O’Donnell Visiting Educator, Whitman College. Jenik helped draft Nepal’s interim peace constitution, has served on the UN Global Compact Academic Initiative taskforce and has supported the Zawadi Africa Education Fund. He has lectured in more than 70 nations and has written countless published articles. A graduate of Columbia University (B.A.), University of California–Berkeley (M.C.P.) and Stanford Law School (J.D.), Jenik founded Radon Law Offices, an international law firm that advises on the extractive industry, human rights and pharma/biotech. Among his accolades are the Order of Honor from the Republic of Georgia and the Order of the Cross Terra Mariana from the Republic of Estonia.


Paul B. Rosenbaum

Paul B. RosenbaumPaul Rosenbaum is Head of Business Transformation, AT&T Business. His organization is responsible for identifying and implementing strategic initiatives that position AT&T Business for the future. These initiatives include both technological and business transformation activities, focused on serving the current and future needs of AT&T’s business customers.

Paul has extensive experience leading large technical, engineering, customer service and operations organizations, which have supported every aspect of the service experience for AT&T’s Retail, Wholesale and Public Sector customers. This experience serves him well as he drives transformative initiatives focused on serving AT&T’s business customers.

Prior to his current role, Paul served as Executive Vice President, Customer Service & Operations, AT&T Business. In that role, Paul and his team were responsible for end-to-end operations in support of nearly 2.5 million AT&T business and public sector customers on a global basis.

Paul began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1986, where he was responsible for systems engineering of AT&T’s advanced data networking offerings. Since that time, Paul has held a series of technical, customer service and product management positions across AT&T. Paul also spent two years at Concert Communications, as Vice President of Data and IP Service Delivery, where he led a team of technical professionals across North America, Europe and Asia.

In addition to his professional activities, Paul is also very active in the local community. Paul is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees of United Way of Northern New Jersey and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey. Paul is also a member of the industry advisory council at the Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business.

Paul holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business, New York University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.


George Serafin, '87, M.S. '92
President & CEO, NanoDx, Inc.

George SerafinGeorge Serafin is President and CEO of NanoDx, Inc., a medical diagnostics company commercializing a proprietary nano-biosensor platform that delivers quantitative diagnostic results at the point of care in minutes. The platform's first application for traumatic brain injury holds FDA Breakthrough Device Designation. Prior to NanoDx, George built and led global, multidisciplinary consulting practices at Deloitte, Grant Thornton, and FTI Consulting, scaling specialized capabilities to support late-stage product development, supply chain, commercialization, and enterprise transformation across the life sciences industry. Earlier in his career, he was a principal architect of SAP's life sciences ERP solution, partnering with biopharmaceutical and medical device companies worldwide to translate enterprise technology into measurable business outcomes. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC). George holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Science in Technology Management from Stevens, and is a member of the university's Athletics Hall of Fame.


Sachin N. Shah, '89, M.S. '93
Senior Advisor, Various

Sachin N. ShahSachin Shah has a portfolio of senior advisory roles, including a global consulting firm and an integrated technology investment advisory firm, and is an investor and limited partner in venture capital funds. His previous roles include CEO of Asia Pacific, AIG General Insurance and chairman, president and CEO of MetLife Insurance K.K. He also served on the board of the U.S.-Japan Business Council and on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a master’s in Technology and Business Management from Stevens.


Katherine Jara Skinner, '87

She also leads strategic engagements with early-stage consumer-facing and social impact companies seeking new ways to scale and accelerate growth. Katherine has a passion for developing talent, enabling human-centered customer experiences, and creating a culture of innovation. A forward thinker with a GM mindset and the expertise to leverage and build data technology capabilities, she has led innovative portfolio, consumer, go-to-market and transformation strategies that drove growth for leading companies such as PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch InBev, The Coca-Cola Company, Nestle, Kimberly-Clark, Wendy’s, and IRI amongst others. Katherine holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Stevens and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She was raised in the US and Venezuela and is fluent in both English and Spanish.


Andy Wirths
Senior VP, AstraZeneca

Andy WirthsAndrew (Andy) Wirths is a senior pharmaceutical operations leader with over 30 years experience in the industry spanning small and large molecule manufacturing. Andy joined AstraZeneca in 2015 and is currently Senior Vice President, Americas Supply, where he is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations of 8 sites in North and South America. Previously Andy held various senior positions at Merck where he was fundamental to the development of their manufacturing strategy and its execution at multiple sites. Andy holds an MSU in Engineering Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA and Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.
