Roles & Responsibilities Matrix
Well-defined roles and responsibilities are critical to building a strong, effective compliance program that ensures the successful administration of sponsored activities. Clearly defined areas of accountability drive responsibility, maximize efficiency, and guarantee strict adherence to regulations. This clarity fosters a culture of collaboration by enabling individuals to work in harmony, with each role complementing the others to achieve compliance. The Sponsored Awards Administration Roles and Responsibilities Matrix memorializes our shared responsibility, encouraging all participants to actively contribute to maintaining compliance standards. SHaRRRPIs : Stevens Handbook of Research Roles, Responsibilities, Processes, and Information
The Stevens Handbook of Research Roles, Responsibilities, Processes, and Information (SHaRRRPI) is prepared to provide information and assistance to the campus on research-related processes. The SHaRRRPIs address a variety of needs: they respond to requirements and regulations imposed by funding entities; they may be the result of the need to collect and report data; or they may respond to institutional policies and procedures. As the name suggests, SHaRRRPIs can address the need to follow a specific process or procedure, or they may provide information. Where there is a combination of actions needed to complete the process, i.e., the principal investigator or department acting in concert with OSP, then all related processes will be included in the SHaRRRPI.
