Your Stevens Student Portal
By this time, you should have received an email directing you to check your Stevens applicant status portal for an update. Within your portal, you will see Stevens Enrollment information. This documentation contains important dates and deadlines. Please be sure to read it in its entirety and pay close attention to the important deadlines.
MyStevens is the university’s secure, internal portal for students, faculty and staff. An email containing instructions for claiming your Stevens user account will be sent to the email address you provided on your application. You will then be able to receive your username, set your initial password and set up your password reset options. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder for an email from Stevens with a donotreply email address, or contact IT Client Support Services via one of the options listed on stevens.edu/IT. Once you have set up your Stevens user account, you can access the myStevens portal at my.stevens.edu, which will connect you to your email, class schedules, financial aid, housing application and much more.
To access your Stevens email, click on the Outlook Web App icon on myStevens or visit webmail.stevens.edu. You can also download, install and configure the Microsoft 365 Outlook app on your mobile devices for quick access. All students must check their Stevens email on a regular basis to ensure that important announcements and communications are not missed. All formal University communications will come to your Stevens email.
Student Digital Backpack
To help you begin your journey at Stevens, we have put together a digital backpack to get you started, help you learn and make your technology experience the very best! Be sure to visit stevens.edu/tools/student-digital-backpack as you orient yourself and throughout your time at Stevens.
Beginning March 1 and no later than June 30, you should upload your DuckCard (Stevens ID Card) photo on the eAccounts website, which can be found on stevens.edu/directory/duckcard-office. Once you submit your photo, we will mail your DuckCard to the address on file with the University. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
Update Your Contacts in Workday
You should log into Workday, Stevens’ student information system, to make sure your contacts are listed with correct phone numbers and email addresses. Use these instructions to update your emergency contact. This emergency contact can be your parent or guardian, or a relative or friend who lives near campus. You must also update your Friends and Family contacts using these instructions. This will ensure that your parents or guardians receive important communications about Stevens’ happenings and events. You may create two Friends and Family contacts, one each for two different parents/guardians, and tag them both as either Parent or Legal Guardian.
Record Your Name with Name Coach
Names are central to our identity and pronouncing them correctly is a highly impactful way to promote inclusion and belonging. NameCoach allows students, faculty and staff to voice record and share the pronunciation of their name in a Canvas course or an email signature.
Health and Immunization Requirements
In preparation for arrival on campus, all students are required by Stevens and the State of New Jersey to submit completed electronic health and immunization records by August 1.
Finalizing Your Admissions Application
If you were granted conditional admission to Stevens, you must successfully complete additional coursework before the August 1 deadline.
Admitted Student Events
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is busy preparing a calendar filled with events to celebrate YOU this March and April! Below you will find descriptions for the different event offerings. Continue to check your applicant status portal to see available events.
Housing and Dining
Your residential community at Stevens is your home away from home on your Stevens journey. Your residence hall is not just the place you will sleep; it’s the place where you connect and develop relationships with other students who have diverse backgrounds, perspectives and identities different from your own. Your residence hall is also the place where you further explore your own identities and beliefs. Living at Stevens provides you with the opportunity not only to be academically successful, but also to grow further into an engaged global citizen during your time at Stevens and beyond!
Arrival on Campus
Move-in takes place on August 24 for Pre-Orientation participants and International students, and on August 27 for all new students. Student-athletes in-season in the fall arrive early on August 17.
