CONNECT WITH STEVENS BEFORE ORIENTATION!

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is busy preparing a calendar filled with events to celebrate YOU this March and April! Below you will find descriptions for the different event offerings. Continue to check your applicant status portal to see available events.

Admitted Student Weekend

Our main event! You will hear from Stevens President Nariman Farvardin, meet with faculty and staff members, visit lab facilities and speak to student leaders from a variety of clubs and organizations. Each day will conclude with a Taste of Hoboken, a food festival with cuisines from popular Hoboken restaurants.

Admitted Student FridaysLearn more about life on campus from current students, meet a variety of Stevens administrative staff members and have your financial aid, admissions and enrollment questions answered. Student-led campus tours will also be offered. The agenda for the day is the same throughout the month, so feel free to register for the date that works best with your schedule:

IntroDUCKtions

IntroDUCKtions are a unique opportunity for you to virtually connect with the Stevens community that you will soon call home. IntroDUCKtions include both mandatory and optional virtual sessions for all new students, designed to provide you with additional support in navigating life at Stevens, as well as provide you with connections to knowledgeable faculty, staff and students. Virtual sessions and offerings take place in July and August. IntroDUCKtion programs will take place between July 10 and August 11, 2023. Registration links will be made available to new students in early summer 2023.

Summer Career Center Workshops

To jump start your journey at Stevens, the Stevens Career Center team invites you to attend our summer introductory career development workshops. 

  • SCC 101 - Introduction to Career Services & Co-op (virtual, 50-minutes). Provides an overview of all the career resources and services available to you. You will learn about Handshake, the Cooperative Education Program, Career Advising appointments and much more.

  • SCC 102 - Resume Writing (virtual, 50-minutes). Transform your high school résumé or write your first college résumé. The Stevens Career Center will show you how to be résumé ready for the many internship and job opportunities available to Stevens students.

A schedule of summer Career Center workshops will be available in July 2023.
