Stevens Named a Top 50 College

The university appeared on newly released rankings from LinkedIn and The Princeton Review

Stevens Institute of Technology recently ranked No. 45 nationally on the first-ever 2025 LinkedIn Top Colleges list and made The Princeton Review’s Best Colleges for 2026 list, including specialized rankings for location, student support services and quality of life.

LinkedIn’s first-ever Top Colleges list identifies universities that best prepare their graduates for long-term career success. Using exclusive LinkedIn data, five key pillars — job placement, internships and recruiter demand, career success, network strength and knowledge breadth — were carefully weighted to analyze the career outcomes of millions of alumni.

In a recent interview with CBS News discussing AI’s impact on the job market, Stevens President Nariman Farvardin emphasized the importance of developing lifelong learning capabilities.

"We don't try to teach our students skills. We try to teach students a way to learn on their own for the rest of their lives," he said.

Recent graduates are capitalizing on the approach, with the Class of 2024 achieving a 96.8% successful outcomes rate within six months of graduation, and an average starting salary of $84,800.

Stevens was also featured in The Princeton Review’s The Best 391 Colleges: 2026 Edition. Additionally, the university ranks No. 2 for College City Gets High Marks, No. 4 for Best Student Support and Counseling Services and No. 20 for Best Quality of Life for 2026.

“At Stevens, we invest in the well-being of all of our students to enhance their entire Stevens experience,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Sara Klein. “We focus on fostering a sense of community and creating pathways for each student to find their place within our campus environment.”
