Stevens Graduate's Commercial Chosen By Tesla, Elon Musk in Electric-Car Video Contest

A video produced by Stevens Institute of Technology graduate and social media star Marques Brownlee '15 was selected by automaker Tesla as the winner of a nationwide contest to promote its new Model S electric car using fan-made videos.

"Watched them personally to make sure & I agree with the outcome," wrote Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the social platform Twitter. "Wouldn't have judged differently. Amazing videos all, but [Marques'] was best."

Brownlee, a graduate of Stevens' business and technology program who runs a popular technology-review YouTube channel, was also featured in a Democratic Presidential primary debate in 2016.
