Stevens' Class of 2023 University-wide Commencement Ceremony

Graduating the largest class in its history, Stevens Institute of Technology conferred more than 2,300 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees at its 151st Commencement Ceremony on May 24, 2023. Held at the Prudential Center in Newark, 13,000 family members, friends and loved ones gathered at the university-wide ceremony to celebrate the graduates and their achievements.

Students heard remarks from Stevens President Nariman Farvardin, commencement speaker and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Jianmin Qu, undergraduate student speaker Mackenzy Shea Garden ’23, graduate student speaker Sakina Rizvi ’21 MBA ’23 and Stevens Alumni Association President John Dearborn.
