How/why did you decide to contribute your time as a Stevens volunteer?
Stevens provided me with opportunities to participate in leadership and athletic activities on campus that helped strengthen me as a person. I felt prepared to compete in the marketplace and to continue my education, earning an MBA and an advanced certificate in finance at NYU. I also established friendships that remain to this day.
What drew you to your particular volunteer activity or activities?
The opportunity to continue paying it forward.
What excites you most about what you do for Stevens?
That in some small way I can have an impact on students and help Stevens continue to succeed.
What do you feel is the impact of alumni involvement in the university?
Alumni can help the university succeed in making a difference in the lives of its students and society by ensuring it has the resources to provide students with the tools needed to compete and make the world a better place. Alumni can also play a major role in helping graduates find jobs.
What would you say to other alumni who were considering volunteering at Stevens?
Stevens made a difference in my life and volunteering is the least I can do to help future generations of students and the university.
