Software Engineering Online Graduate Program Ranked #1
2020 Guide to Online School for Value Rankings recognizes SSE software engineering program as #1 in the U.S.
Stevens’ Master of Science in software engineering online graduate program in the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) has been ranked #1 in the 2020 Best Value Colleges survey. The rankings were organized by Optimal (formerly SR Education Group) presenting 121 programs of merit.
The software engineering master’s degree provides students, both online and on campus, with a strong foundation in all aspects of software creation, from envisioning new products through design and build, testing and maintenance, and overall project management. Graduates of the program leave exceptionally well prepared for careers of increasing responsibility attracting a broad range of employment opportunities.
Keeping students connected today and tomorrow, SSE faculty have been working on important research projects including sensors for smart cities, smart homes and robots who can monitor the care and activity for elderly individuals. This research looks to create a more integrated world focused on streamlining the process of software engineering.
