School of Systems and Enterprises Programs Recognized Nationwide in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

In recognition of its pursuit to provide world-class systems education and groundbreaking research, the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) graduate programs were recognized nationwide by U.S. News & World Report Graduate School Rankings. The School of Systems and Enterprises’ new strategic plan, Planning for Success, Strategic Plan 2018-2023, acts as a cornerstone for SSE’s momentum over the next five years and aims to bolster all aspects of education, research and outreach. The plan focuses on providing a reinvigorated and exciting new curriculum with interdisciplinary education as its foundation, a redesigned infrastructure to provide students and faculty with an inspiring and entrepreneurial environment, and a consistently emphasized reputation of leadership to reinforce the school’s status. The plan also concentrates on fostering a culture of research and collaboration within the school and beyond its borders, diversifying corporate education and becoming a destination school for aspiring undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students.

"The recognition that the School of Systems and Enterprises has been receiving underlines the school's  significant growth in research awards and expenditures, peer-reviewed publications, undergraduate and graduate student enrollments, corporate partnerships, faculty and student awards, and its visibility," said Dr. Yehia Massoud, dean of the school. "We have worked tirelessly to advance our mission, grow our school and produce successful outcomes that not only impact us today but will stand for many years to come. The School of Systems and Enterprises is poised to make remarkable strides this year and in the years to come," said Dr. Massoud. "I am confident that with our new and current student body, faculty and staff, we will continue our ascent as a renowned leader in systems and software engineering, and enterprise science and engineering."
