Dear Fellow Alumni,

As alumni of Stevens, we carry with us experiences and memories of some of the most transformative years of our lives.

When I began my academic journey, I participated in the Performing Arts Pre-Orientation, a program that brought together about 30 students who shared an interest in the theater and performing arts. We arrived on campus five days before the rest of the student body, and we bonded through acting exercises, creative collaboration and the exciting challenge of writing and performing our own plays. It was a fun and meaningful experience. By the time we started classes, I had a core group of friends and felt like I had found my community.

The Stevens Dramatic Society was my home away from home. Throughout my years at Stevens, I stayed active in the theater, performing in productions and serving in leadership. I learned the power of collaboration and the importance of stepping into roles that challenged and inspired me. These experiences not only shaped my college years but also influenced my career and life. After graduation, I reignited the Dramatic Society Alumni Affinity Club, and together we established the Stevens Dramatic Society Endowed Scholarship.

I ask you to engage with Stevens in ways that matter to you. Think back to what sparked your passion during your time as a student. Was it athletics, student government, volunteering, Greek life, a club or organization? Whatever it was, there’s a place for you to connect as an alum and have fun in a way that is reminiscent of what you experienced as a student. If there is an opportunity you want to engage in that you are not seeing, let us know so we can find a meaningful way for you to become involved.

Join me in connecting with what once inspired you. When we engage with purpose, we strengthen the bonds that define our incredible community.
