Jay Weinberg ’14 is a New Jersey native who began his storied career in music and art in 2009, right here at Stevens.

From touring in stadiums with Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band throughout his freshman year, to jumping in vans with hardcore punk rock bands Madball and Against Me!, to a decade with heavy-metal titans Slipknot — during which he earned four GRAMMY nominations, multiple gold records, and numerous “Best Metal Drummer” recognitions from Modern Drummer Magazine, Drumeo and more — Weinberg has taken his artistic ambitions from his dorm room to the highest levels of professional arts, all around the world.

Weinberg returns to Stevens for an intimate discussion and Q&A session with students, sharing his experiences in music and art and how his studies at Stevens prepared him for a career in high-performance creative fields.
