Abstract Submissions and Poster Format

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract submissions for the 8th Stevens Conference on Bacteria-Material Interactions will open in January 2027. Please stay tuned for updates.

Authors should prepare their abstracts according to the formatting directions found in the template below.

Important Notes

The maximum abstract length is one (1) page with 1” margins.
We recommend not including images, graphs or tables.
Do not insert page numbers or headers and footers.

Poster Format and Guidelines

Posters will be presented during the entire conference near the lecture area. All posters should have landscape orientation and should have maximum dimensions of 48” wide and 36” tall.
A subset of the poster presenters will also be asked to give a Rapid Fire (RF) oral presentation. These RF presentations will be allocated 4 mins (2-4 powerpoint slides) to orally highlight their poster. RF presenters will be notified when the program is finalized.
