The School of Systems & Enterprises’ (SSE’s) Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Systems Analytics program trains students in state-of-the-art data visualization and knowledge extraction techniques to analyze trends, assess risk, discover patterns, and build decision models that can better develop, maintain and improve complex engineering systems and enterprises. The M.Eng. degree program is designed to provide students with expertise in visualizing, manipulating and extracting critical concepts from systems data as well as training in traditional systems decision-making methods.

As data analytics —the science of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, modeling and analyzing raw data to make deductions that can be used to inform subsequent steps in businesses of all natures — become an increasingly integral part of the business world, demand for data scientists is growing. Data-driven insights and analytics are facilitating and optimizing forecasting and decision-making abilities across industries. Upon completion of the M.Eng. program, graduates are equipped with the technical toolkit necessary to harness complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
