AI is revolutionizing how business gets conducted across every industry.

Artificial intelligence is transforming every aspect of business – from finance and marketing to supply chain management, operations, entrepreneurship and decision-making. The Bachelor of Science in Business & Artificial Intelligence at Stevens Institute of Technology prepares you to lead this transformation by combining a rigorous business education with applied artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics and emerging technologies.

Unlike traditional computer science programs that focus primarily on developing AI algorithms, the Business & AI major teaches you how to strategically apply AI to solve complex business challenges. You'll develop a strong foundation in management, accounting, finance, economics, marketing and organizational behavior while learning to design, implement and manage AI-driven business solutions.

Beginning in the first year, you gain hands-on experience with modern software development practices, data analytics, business intelligence and machine learning. As they progress through the curriculum, you'll explore topics such as generative AI, agentic AI, deep learning, predictive analytics, human-centered design, computational models of decision making and AI strategy. You also complete specialized laboratory courses focused on modern AI tools, including PyTorch, scikit-learn, prompt engineering and business AI infrastructure.

Throughout the program, you work with real-world datasets and develop practical AI applications that improve business performance, automate workflows and support strategic decision-making. The curriculum emphasizes ethical AI adoption, responsible innovation and the effective integration of artificial intelligence into modern organizations.

During your senior year, you'll complete a two-semester capstone project where multidisciplinary teams partner with faculty and industry sponsors to solve authentic business problems using artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.

Graduates are uniquely prepared to bridge the gap between business strategy and emerging technologies, making them highly sought after by organizations across virtually every industry.
