Science communication is a critical skill for early-career researchers. Stevens provides many venues for you to grow your ability to communicate complex experimental designs and results. The Stevens Symposium is one of our signature undergraduate research events with hundreds of participants across the campus including students, staff, and faculty.
Stevens Symposium for Undergraduate Research
The Stevens Symposium is a yearly showcase of over a hundred undergraduate research projects. These presentations are often the culmination of summer research internships or the progress of ongoing studies. Presentations at the Stevens Symposium span a wide range of disciplines, from innovative engineering design projects, humanities-based literature review studies, and hypothesis-driven studies in the sciences.
The 2026 Stevens Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in the University Campus Center. This event is open to all Stevens undergraduate students, and we also encourage students from nearby universities to apply to present their work. Abstracts are accepted at all stages of research, from initial hypothesis proposals to completed projects, making this an ideal opportunity for you to share ideas, receive feedback, and engage with a vibrant research community.
