School of Business - Business Programs For High School Students

The School of Business offers two types of summer programs.

Commuter

Commuter programs give students the chance the explore business and management fields while experiencing campus life – all without staying overnight. This experience includes hands-on projects led by Stevens faculty, collaborative activities with peers and daily on-campus experiences without residential housing.

Business & AI (Commuter)

Discover how artificial intelligence really works and how it’s transforming business and society. In this hands-on experience, students will collaborate in teams to design and prototype your own AI-powered app with no coding required, turning bold ideas into real projects. The week culminates in an exciting final showcase where each team will present their apps for peer review.

Leadership (Commuter)

High school students will build essential leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through immersive, tech-enabled experiences in this one-week, on-campus program. Using AI, virtual reality, and real-world simulations, students learn to lead collaboratively, think strategically, and navigate uncertainty. They will be guided by industry professionals and Stevens School of Business faculty to become confident, future-ready leaders.

Virtual Research

These flexible online business programs let students dive into exciting topics from anywhere! This experience includes interactive virtual sessions with Stevens faculty, project-based learning in a remote format, and opportunities to connect with peers through fun and challenging academic experiences.

Finance and Investing (One-Week Intensive Virtual Bootcamp)

This one-week immersive finance and investment boot camp is designed to mirror the experience of a professional portfolio manager. Through hands-on learning with industry tools, students explore equity analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio diversification while gaining practical skills and insight into the world of investing and building a strong foundation for future careers in finance.

Quantitative Finance (Four-Week Virtual Summer Research Program)

This four-week virtual summer research program in quantitative finance is designed for high school students interested in finance, data, and technology. Through hands-on learning and real-world case studies, students build skills in financial analysis, statistics, and coding while earning industry-recognized Bloomberg Market Concepts and Capital IQ certifications.
