CPR and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) empower bystanders to provide immediate lifesaving assistance to someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest until professional help arrives.
Stevens has portable AEDs located across campus. In an emergency call 201-216-3911 if on campus (or 911 if off campus), begin CPR, retrieve the nearest AED, and follow the device’s voice prompts until emergency responders arrive.
