Dear Colleagues,
Commencement is a milestone in the lives of our students, their families and the extended university community. It is also a moment when we can appreciate the impact of our teaching and mentoring.
Faculty members played a critical role in guiding our students through their educational achievements. Accordingly, we hope you will join us in honoring our students at the 2024 Commencement ceremonies.
Stevens Institute of Technology’s 152nd Commencement ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. This year’s ceremonies are scheduled to be held at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J.
The day will feature an undergraduate Commencement ceremony in the morning and a graduate student Commencement ceremony in the afternoon. These ceremonies will include candidates from summer 2023, fall 2023 and spring 2024. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the faculty participating in the ceremonies. Stevens-provided transportation will also be available for faculty from campus to and from the PNC Banks Arts Center.
The Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 20, at 1 p.m. in DeBaun Auditorium. Faculty members who have graduating doctoral students should plan to attend. Please note that academic regalia is required for the Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony.
Please let us know which ceremonies you will attend using this RSVP form. Orders for academic regalia will be taken starting today, March 1. If you need to order regalia, order information will be sent to you directly.
As details solidify, the Commencement website will be updated and further announcements will be forthcoming. Additional awards ceremonies and celebrations will be held on campus on May 20 and 21, and I invite you to participate in those, as well.
I hope you will join us on this momentous day. It will mean a lot to our graduating students and their families.
