Student Commencement Speakers
Robert T. Dahill IV
Chosen by a committee of faculty, staff and students through a rigorous selection process, Robert T. Dahill IV, of Manalapan, New Jersey, is the undergraduate student speaker for the Class of 2025. He graduates Stevens with a Bachelor of Science Degree in finance.
Dahill belongs to Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and is the chairman of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board in the School of Business. He is also a member of Stevens Finance, Investment Banking and Advisory Society, and a panelist on “Breaking Barriers: A Student Panel Dialogue On Living With A Disability.”
While at Stevens, Dahill has maintained a commitment to career development in business and finance. He served as an analyst and as the head of macroeconomic strategy for the Stevens Student Managed Investment Fund (SSMIF), which he credits as having prepared him for a career in asset management. Dahill also cites two classes in particular — Corporate Finance and Portfolio Management — for not only teaching him valuable knowledge, but also introducing him to his mentors, Professors Ye (Emma) Wang and Jonathan Kaufman.
After graduation, Dahill plans to return to Stevens this fall to complete his Master of Science in finance as part of the Accelerated Master’s Program, and will then pursue a career in financial services. Dahill is excited to apply all that he has learned at Stevens in the real world and looks forward to giving back to the Stevens community.
Bitla Aditya Jeetendra Reddy
Chosen by a committee of faculty, staff and students through a rigorous selection process, Bitla Aditya Jeetendra Reddy, of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is the graduate student speaker for the Class of 2025. He graduates Stevens with a Master of Science Degree in finance.
Reddy’s time at Stevens is made distinct by his commitment to leadership and community outreach. He served as president of the Graduate Consulting Club and served as a graduate leader on the JED Mental Health Task Force. Reddy also worked as a graduate assistant in the Graduate Admissions Office and a teaching assistant for under undergraduate students during his first semester on campus.
In furtherance of his professional development, Reddy served as a summer research analyst for the Sustainability and Responsible Management Program in the School of Business.
Reddy cites his personal development and the Stevens community for his success. Setting up his home away from home in a new county — while juggling classes, work and extracurricular activities — taught him the ability to multitask and to keep going, no matter how hard things may seem. The warmth of the Stevens community has made him more empathetic, a better listener and left an indelible mark of positivity and optimism in his life.
After graduation, Reddy looks forward to applying the knowledge and skills acquired during his time at Stevens to real-world challenges in finance. Having built a strong foundation for success at Stevens, Reddy is excited about his next chapter, with all the opportunities it brings, and ready to embark on a fulfilling professional journey.
