Accelerated Combined Degree Programs

The Fast Track to Fulfilling Your Dream

Our accelerated programs offer combined degrees in partnership with esteemed medical and law schools - allowing you to seamlessly obtain your bachelor's and professional degree in less time.  Let us take the guesswork out of course requirements, volunteer service, test preparation and the application process so you can focus on what's most important: achieving your goals.

Accelerated Combined Degree Programs

Accelerated programs are Stevens degree programs paired with a medical or law school, and are intended for exceptionally qualified students. In medicine, the Accelerated Pre-Medicine program is paired with the medical program at the New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers University, the oldest medical school in New Jersey.  The student applies to both Stevens and the Medical School.  In law, the Accelerated Law program is paired with Seton Hall University School of Law.

To apply for an accelerated program, you submit a full application to Stevens as a high school senior, and indicate your interest in the accelerated degree program on your application. Your application will be reviewed by Stevens, as well as by the medical or law school. If you’re admitted to an accelerated program, you will take a predetermined set of courses at Stevens and then transfer to the professional school at the end of three years. Stevens confers the bachelor's degree after successful completion of your first year of medical or law school, and the M.D. or J.D. degree is awarded by the professional school when you complete their regular medical or law program.
