Stevens Institute of Technology Expands African Education Initiative

Following September's African Education Forum, Stevens and Nekotech Center of Excellence launch graduate program collaboration   

Hoboken, N.J., November 20, 2024 — Building on momentum from September's Africa-US Presidential Forum on STEM, AI and MBA, Stevens Institute of Technology announces its partnership with the Nekotech Center of Excellence to recruit and enroll talented students from Liberia. This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Liberian government, aims to build capacity in Liberia's workforce and drive national development through graduate programs in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), artificial intelligence and business administration. 

"This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering global educational connections," said Stevens President Nariman Farvardin. "Together, we will drive economic growth, create high-value jobs and ensure that Africa remains at the forefront of technological innovation." 

Applications for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 are now open. Prospective students are encouraged to explore opportunities to join Stevens' vibrant academic community.
