Commencement 2017

Commencement 2017 will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The Graduate Ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and the Undergraduate Ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Each ceremony should last approximately two hours. Below is a list of all Commencement Week activities:

 

GRADUATE AWARDS CEREMONY

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall
Friday, May 19, 2017 at 5 p.m. (with reception at Babbio Atrium following)

Presentation of academic awards to graduating graduate students, coordinated through the Office of Graduate Student Affairs.

 

UNDERGRADUATE AWARDS CEREMONY

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall
Monday, May 22, 2017 at 7 p.m. (with reception at Babbio Atrium following)

Presentation of academic and co-curricular awards to members of the graduating senior class, coordinated through the Office of Student Life.

 

Faculty awards & PH.D. HOODING CEREMONY

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall
Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. 

Specialized recognition event for all graduating doctoral degree candidates, coordinated through the Office of Graduate Student Affairs.  

 

GRADFEST 2017

The lawns across campus (rain locations – Canavan Arena and Pierce Dining Hall)
Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5-8 p.m.

Each School and College will have a gathering area where the Class of 2017, both undergraduate and graduate, can meet and greet their respective faculty and staff members. The Festival will feature food, live music, giveaways and photo opportunities. All students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome!

 

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES, May 24, 2017

Meadowlands Expo Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ

11:00 a.m. ceremony (doors open at 10:00 a.m.)

Our first commencement ceremony will award degrees to all of the PhD and Masters degree candidates. 

4:00 p.m. ceremony (doors open at 3:00 p.m.) 

 Our second commencement ceremony will award degrees to all of the Bachelor degree candidates.
