At Stevens, students can pursue their Stevens major in addition to following a pathway to a career in health professions, such as Pre-Medicine, Pre-Dental and more. Through personalized guidance, advising resources and a network of experienced mentors, students can explore pathways to a wide range of healthcare fields as listed below. Students can pursue any major while making sure to build in the appropriate prerequisites and experiences. The program is led by the Director of Pre-Health Advising in collaboration with the Health Professions Advisory Committee, a dedicated team of faculty and staff who provide mentorship, career counseling and application support throughout the pre-health journey. Students can identify they are interested in a pre-health program (pre-medicine, pre-dental, etc.) as soon as they arrive on campus their first year.
