Student Ambassadors Group

The Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassadors are comprised of student leaders committed to providing dynamic campus visits and information to prospective students and their families. The ambassadors convey their pride and passion for Stevens Institute of Technology with honesty, sincerity and enthusiasm. They believe in cultivating a true knowledge and understanding of the campus and community along with the values and ideals of an innovative and technology-centric Stevens education. Through the determination and camaraderie that the ambassadors share, it is their goal to help prospective students envision themselves as future Stevens students by leaving a lasting and positive impression.

Advice for Prospective Students: Take a deep breathe, and organize your assignments in something like Google Calendar.

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Interests: Society of Women Engineers, A. James Clark Scholars Program, Greek life, Peer Leader Program

Advice for Prospective Students: Push yourself out of your comfort zone. College is a time for growth and self reflection and this can only be done by trying new things and meeting new people. When I got to college I challenged myself to do something new as often as possible but this also helped me to find comfort in who I am and become more confident in myself.

Advice for Prospective Students: Try to talk to as many people as possible, especially during orientation!

Advice for Prospective Students: Try everything you can. Even if it doesn't stick, it's a great way to get yourself out there, meet new people and learn new things.

Advice for Prospective Students: Don't be afraid to get involved and talk to new people! It can be challenging but it'll help when finding friends and extracurricular interests.

Advice for Prospective Students: Make sure you get involved, and remember that it's never too late to start. Build relationships and explore new things. Embrace the unique experiences college offers while you have the chance.

Advice for Prospective Students: It’s ok to be a little nervous and overwhelmed when you first step foot on campus. Just know that we are here for you every step of the way and if you come to Steven’s you’ll make so many memories and meet so many new people. Enjoy every moment of the college process and we hope it takes you here.

Advice for Prospective Students: Don't shut yourself off to different opportunities based off of barriers -- there is always a way to get past.

Interests: Greek life, Stevens Women in Music, HASS Deans Advisory Board, environmental club

Advice for Prospective Students: College is supposed to be fun and it is supposed to be experimental. Stay curious about your future and do everything you can to move yourself further in the professional world. But also foster social relationships and make time to have fun and celebrate your time at college!
