From March 14–19, representatives from Stevens Institute of Technology will be visiting India to connect with both prospective and admitted students through a series of in-person events. Traveling from Mumbai to Bangalore, then to Ahmedabad and concluding in Hyderabad, our team looks forward to engaging with students and families, answering questions, and strengthening our Stevens community abroad.

Expedited Decision Days
During Expedited Decision Days (EDD), you’ll meet one-on-one with the faculty members who review applications and make admission decisions. Because your evaluation happens through this live faculty interview, you qualify for a streamlined application process — including a waiver of the statement of purpose and letters of recommendation. Instead of submitting additional materials, you’ll have the opportunity to present your academic background, professional experience, and goals directly to the decision-makers.
You’ll receive personalized feedback during the conversation and leave with a same-day admission decision. In many cases, the strength of your faculty interview can also positively influence your merit-based scholarship award, potentially resulting in higher funding based on demonstrated readiness, leadership, and fit.
Accepted Student Receptions
Accepted Student Receptions provide admitted students with the opportunity to connect with faculty, senior staff, and fellow admits while gaining a deeper understanding of what lies ahead.
Attendees will learn more about career outcomes, industry connections, research opportunities, funding and assistantships, and the academic resources that support student success. The event also offers guidance on next steps in the enrollment process — all while celebrating your achievement and welcoming you into the Stevens community.
