University Center Complex

A dazzling new university center and residential towers are stellar additions to Hoboken’s waterfront skyline, providing a vital new space and campus hub for student life and engagement at Stevens. 

With modern spaces and conveniences, the 392,000-square-foot center enables a robust residential life for students, with accommodations for socialization, studying, dining and relaxation – all with the spectacular world-class view that only Stevens can offer.

University Center Welcome Desk

The Welcome Desk is located in the Grand Commons across from the front doors of the University Center. A staff member is available to welcome and assist anyone who enters the facility when the University Center is open.

The Residential Towers

The two new residence halls house approximately 930 undergraduate students on 19 and 21 floors, respectively. All student rooms have expansive glass windows to allow for plenty of natural light and for an outstanding view of either the New York City skyline or the Stevens campus and the City of Hoboken. At the base of the new residence halls is Stevens’ three-story University Center, which will serve as a hub for the campus community.

Spaces, Facilities and Amenities

The University Center will house many different types of spaces for events and student organizations as well as a dining marketplace, fitness center, convenience store, high-tech conference rooms, offices for Student Affairs and Student Life staff, a game room, and lounge space.
