New Master's Student Orientation

During this day-long program, you'll have the opportunity to meet and learn from faculty, staff, and current master's students about the various resources available to support you on your academic journey.

It is our priority to ensure that you transition smoothly into life as a Stevens student. Below is information about orientation activities for new master’s students.

Orientation Sessions and Activities

We have expanded our online orientation resources via Guidebook to include an interactive checklist, live and recorded information sessions, and access to important administrative department webinars. All incoming students will receive an email invitation to access orientation materials.  

You are also encouraged to participate in as many of the optional Pre-Orientation Webinars as you can. These sessions will cover various topics that will help you better understand the academic, social, and personal resources we have for you not only as a new student but throughout your Stevens career. The Pre-Orientation Webinar schedule will be shared via email. All sessions will be recorded. 

New Master’s Student Orientation for Fall 2024 is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024. Details regarding session offerings, locations, and times will also be emailed. Please save the date for our IntroDUCKtion Week, featuring different welcoming events and activities, in the days following orientation.

International and Out-of-State Students

Stevens offers an airport pickup service as well as temporary housing options for new incoming graduate students who are traveling from outside of New Jersey or outside of the United States. Advance registration is required for these services.
