Rule Breakers tells the true story of Afghanistan's pioneering all-girls robotics team — young women who dared to innovate in a nation where educating girls is considered an act of rebellion. This film chronicles how their courage and unity sparked a movement with the potential to change the world, and the story resonates deeply with Stevens’ mission to nurture and prepare students for our complex, technology-driven world.
During our post-screening discussion, Laura Overdeck, who holds an honorary D.Eng. from Stevens Institute of Technology, will share insights from her work as a producer on this film and her ongoing commitment to making STEM education accessible to all children.
