About Inclusive Leadership in Action
The Office of Student Culture and Belonging, Fraternity + Sorority Life and Athletics — now in partnership with the Stevens School of Business Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program — is excited to announce the launch of Inclusive Leadership in Action, a newly expanded leadership development program open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
Inclusive Leadership in Action integrates the Inclusion Reps Program and the Inclusive Leadership Certificate program into a single, university-wide experience designed to prepare students for leadership in an increasingly interconnected world. It builds upon six years of success in both programs helping students develop leadership skills and create positive culture change with their peers on campus and in the workplace.
Through interactive workshops, peer dialogue, and hands-on leadership experiences, participants will:
Strengthen communication and leadership skills
Build emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Develop collaboration and cross-cultural communication skills
Connect with student leaders from across the university
Explore leadership through real-world challenges and conversations
Gain capabilities to build interpersonal trust, elevate team and organizational effectiveness and increase your professional preparedness
Earn recognition for sustained involvement

We meet monthly on alternate 3rd Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

When are the meetings?
We meet monthly on alternate 3rd Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. All meeting times and locations are listed on DuckLink.
When is the deadline to join?
All students who wish to participate in the 2026-27 Cohort should sign up on DuckLink and attend the in-person Leadership Kickoff & Orientation on September 14 or the virtual orientation session on September 24, 2026. For students unable to attend orientation, email [email protected] to will receive a video recording.

Mission
Inclusive Leadership in Action complements the technical and professional education students receive at Stevens by developing the communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills needed to succeed in diverse and collaborative environments. Through practical learning experiences, students strengthen their ability to navigate complexity, work across differences, and lead with integrity and awareness.
Vision
Inclusive Leadership in Action envisions Stevens graduates who are not only innovative problem-solvers, but also effective communicators, collaborators, and leaders. Participants learn to combine technical knowledge with empathy, cultural awareness, and sound judgment to positively influence their teams, organizations, and communities.
