When Jenny Chen reflects on her time at Stevens, the moments she feels most proud of aren’t her own solo accomplishments, but instead are the moments where she helped something run better, reach further or feel more inclusive for someone else. For her, it’s a testament to being in a place where she has learned how to take on and follow through on challenges.

An accounting and analytics major with a minor in finance, Chen has maintained a 3.99 GPA. Over two summers, she conducted faculty-mentored research, first exploring artificial intelligence applications in accounting, and then developing tools to foster inclusive leadership, deepening her commitment to ethical, data-driven decision-making.

Her leadership roles have been grounded in the same service orientation. As Treasurer and Philanthropy Chair of Alpha Phi Omega, she managed organizational finances and led fundraising initiatives that surpassed a $3,000 goal for charitable causes. As Service Subcommittee Head for the Student Government Association, she helped streamline service programming across campus. As Professional Chair for Stevens Women in Business, she brought corporate partners and speakers directly to students who needed those connections.

Professionally, Chen has interned at Brookfield Asset Management and Cisco, applying classroom concepts in environments that demanded precision, clear communication and strong time management. Across every role she has taken on at Stevens, the pattern is the same: she shows up fully, follows through completely, and leaves every organization she touches a little stronger than she found it.
