25 Under 25 Honoree Amanda Han
Amanda Han doesn’t believe that consulting should be reserved for a select few. Determined to make the industry more accessible to those of all academic backgrounds, she co-founded the Stevens Consulting Group in May 2024. Today, as Vice President of Marketing, she oversees outreach and promotional efforts for events that connect students with industry professionals and support local businesses.
An information systems major in the Lawrence T. Babbio Pinnacle Scholars Program with a 4.0 GPA in her major, Han has paired her academic rigor with meaningful research experience. She has worked with a faculty-led team exploring how artificial intelligence can be used to recall and automatically implement financial regulations, experimenting with prompt engineering across multiple large language models and consulting with industry professionals on practical applications. The project deepened her understanding of how to use AI responsibly, a skill she considers increasingly essential in her field.
Professionally, Han completed an internship at Ernst and Young in their FSO Technology Risk practice, supporting IT audit engagements, executing control testing and assessing the reliability of client systems. She credits the experience with sharpening both her technical capabilities and her ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
Beyond her major, Han has ventured into unfamiliar territory by taking computer science courses outside her course requirements and pursuing electives in piano and art history.
