We welcome you to join us for the Sixth Annual Women Techmakers International Women’s Day celebration at Stevens on March 26 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a dinner reception.
Women Techmakers’ International Women’s Day (IWD) campaign brings together thousands of technologists to celebrate, connect, and learn. Globally, it is a moment to recognize the incredible contributions of women and a call to action to accelerate gender equity in technology and beyond.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Dr. Bhavani Thuraisingham is a leading expert in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data science and a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. A pioneer in secure database systems, she developed foundational methods to prevent unauthorized data inference and was among the first researchers to highlight privacy risks in data mining. She has authored 15 books, more than 400 research publications, and holds seven patents. A Fellow of ACM, IEEE, AAAS, NAI, and BCS, she has received numerous international awards for her contributions to cybersecurity and data science.
Dr. Mariana Raykova is a Research Scientist at Google working in cryptography and computer security. Her research focuses on developing new cryptographic tools and building practical systems that improve security and privacy, including work on secure computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and verifiable computation. She received her PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University and has held research and academic positions at IBM Research, SRI International, and Yale University before joining Google in 2019.
