Dr. Michael S. Zedalis, a graduate of the first M.S. in Technology Management class at Stevens, is coming back to campus to share his lessons for success.
He brings a unique blend of deep technical expertise and executive leadership experience spanning advanced materials science, technology commercialization and global business management. His career trajectory reflects a consistent focus on leveraging innovation to drive competitive advantage. Dr. Zedalis began his career as a Research Scientist at AlliedSignal, where he specialized in the creation and application of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies. He subsequently served in science and technology business liaison roles before advancing to Chief Technology Officer at Ansell Healthcare, where he managed global technology organizations and strategic partnerships.
Most recently, Dr. Zedalis led Tingley Rubber Corporation as CEO/COO, guiding the mid-sized family-owned business through strategic growth initiatives, operational excellence programs, and data-driven sustainability practices. He currently lends his expertise as a PPE Business Operations Consultant.
His contributions to the field include more than 30 publications, more than 50 presentations and more than 35 patents. Dr. Zedalis holds a B.S. from Lafayette College, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University, and an M.S. in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the inaugural class.
